Ok.  I'm working on my Lost and the Damned right now (realizing that after I get all of the chaos metal I'm supposed to end up with I'll have 6900 points of metal) I need to figure out how to do decent transport options.

After a friend showed me how the GHQ micro armor looks compared to the GW official stuff I am thinking about using something from that line for my Lost and the Damned transport.  I'm thinking some sort of Halftrack.  Anyone else here use their stuff for transports?

Some people use the old Ork skull-wagonz, either straight or as the base for conversions.

Some people have used 6mm transports from other companies like you're considering.  I think several people have used models from Exodus Wars or Dark Realm Minis.

I've used their Strykers for one of my LandD armies with an ork Heavy weapon replacing the one supplied. With them being 8 wheeled vehicles instead of tracked they are easy to spot as Light Vehicles instead of Armoured Vehicles

I've also used forge worlds ork Gunwagons and salamanders for another LandD army also with the ork heavy weapon replacement. With these being open topped they too are easy to tell apart from Armoured Vehicles if you have a mix.

You can try EW's Guild Armored Transport, which I believe is what Nealhunt is referring to.

I've decided that I'm probably going to go with a mix of GHQ American M3s and German 251s.

GHQ is too small ... Get the Exodus Wars Halftrack or some of the DRM Vehicles ...
