I agree that the prow should be able to be easily switched to a plastic cruiser hull so that the Armageddon class cruiser from Armada could be constructed.  I converted a Vengeance grand cruiser using an Apocalypse prow that looks great from both the side view and the top view.  The Apocalypse prow is longer and sleeker than the Voice prow.  If anything, the v-prow should be lengthened fore to aft, but needs to remain its original width port to starboard to fit with the plastic cruisers.

As for the side shields, it would be nice if they could be easily removed and replaced with the standard "wings".  I believe the orginal concept for the Endeavor class came from a conversion adding a plastic cruiser weapon bay to the Dauntless light cruiser.  Just never liked those shields...

I plan on doing the "wings" (cf pictures with the names) and the fins as separate pieces. This way it'll be waaaaaay easier to convert . But given the general size, I don't know if Dauntless bits would fit. Answer after the printing

Any updates?

I'm reshaping the Prow. Something bothers me and I can't find exactly what ...

I invested in moulding products and tried the printing thingy with my Impaler token (see my deadlyware thread).

The project was a bit on standby in the last month, I had to obtain my PhD and to prepare the report and the oral presentation ^^.

This is looking very cool. Would be a heavenly chorus of Voices indeed!!

This was always one of my favourite BFG ships designs and I was gutted when the light cruisers never made it into production. Leaves a bit of a gap between the BB and escorts!!

I had always intended my main Imperial fleet to be using the core rulebook and initial models. But I have always wanted to do a smaller Battlefleet Armageddon force with a mix of Space Marine ships and Voice prow imperials.

Further progress on this project might just be the impetus I need to get painting and playing BFG again.

First prototype done. The Prow needs to be thinned a bit (too large laterally). The new piece is en route. Just a small comparison for the moment:

At first I want to make some molds to make a little Voss fleet. Just have to settle the issues I have with resin . I'll give a try on the aft section, since the prow and weapons section are not printed yet.

That's pretty. And pretty sweet.
