First attempt at making a scarab swarm from last night, result isn't great, but i think its in the right direction - ill probably try again this evening :)

wow those scarabs are tiny!!!

just out of interest what are those going to represent? I thought scarabs were only in the game as a weapon?

There is indeed a high probability that ill have some spare  :upside:  but ill try making an improved version first.

Ive been thinking about this, probably either flayed one proxys (scout and infiltrator works well with the scarabs moving ahead of the main army?)or just use them to bulk out infantry phalanges, using 2 scarab bases per phalanx as count as necron warriors.

scarabs look great ! i think scattering them about your necron warrior bases would look sweet. press mould ?

Yep, made one master scarab from sculpy, then pressed it a load of times into another bit of sculpy :yay:

Fantasy :) although the other half of the pack i brought will be used to add a 'realm of chaos' feel to my death guard stands. Ive got EW infiltrators as flayed one proxys. I plan to build up a full undead fantasy army eventually though :agree:
