i kind of like the 3rd one. might look better if it had the greeen for more of a color contrast though

Frankly, I'd explore #3 more.  Maybe brown as a base color w/ metal highlights or add to what you have done w/ lighter brown highlights.

What colors are you thinking of for the base?

Thanks for all the feedback guys :agree: , whilst mulling it over i painted a 'red' test vehicle:


When the plastic necrons first came out in 40k i painted this guy up:

So you can see the direction i was heading with the infantry test stand  :p

Good question - im thinking either black (GW style) or martian red, which would go well with 3 or 4.

Right after GW gets done with Polka-dot Marines, and only if they decide not to go forward with Plaid Marines. :laugh:

That pylon is going to look great in red.

I'm personally waiting for tartan marines... That and that new ultra secret tartan paint :p

Looking nice. What make are the 6mm undead? They definitely don't look like the Irregular undead I've got.

Undead are from micro world games . Those skeletons are the first micro world models ive done and were great to paint :agree:
