Unfortunately I didn't have time to finish the last two tank variant before Tom heads off to India. Here's the Tank HUnter, IFV and Scout tank turrets.

Short barreled IFV and Flame tank turrets. Unfortunately I had some health problems a few days ago which blew my painting schedule out the window. There's also an APC turret en route from Tom. They may be available as components untill Tom returns from his trip or they might be released later. I'm not really sure, but I'm bet Tom has further details on this.

2nd Cohort AFVs are the Tank Hunter/StuG, 2 IFVs - one with Long & one with Short barreled weapons, FlamePanzer, Cmd/Sct AFV and APC ... so that is 6 AFVs ... if you count all 6 turret types ... :)      I bought them all from Tom along with the 1st Cohort & all the Edenites, before he went to the East ...  It's good to know the man on the inside ...

I'm not completely happy with this paint job but here's the flame tanks and short barrelled IFV. APC turret is WIP.

And the IFV. I guess this is one of the cases where the camo is a bit too effective, actually breaking up the shape of the model and disguising some detail. Normally I'dd add some bits in teracotta red to break the color a bit, but I couldn't think of any suitable parts for these who turrets.

Cheers L4 and thanks :)

I must confess that I'm getting a bit fed up with painting Guild Armor. Off the top of my head I'll have painted more than 30 tanks, since I started the first MBT. I still have the new Enforcers to paint, but I think I might take a break and paint the Valkyrie Mk2 instead, once I've finished the APCs.

Too bad I've already sent some of the new MBTs off to Tom. It'd have been nice with a big group shot of everything. I hope he can be persuaded to snap a nice group shot of the entire studio army... well if he's gotten around to buying a proper camera that is :p

On a side note I'm not entirely happy with Army Painter's black spray undercoat. Although it is also atttributed to insufficient cleaning of the models, I've had some difficulties with the paint flaking off and not sticking very well compared to the Citadel spray. The pait seems rather britle and breaks off even when doing basic drybrushing. Sompare that with a rather glossy finish that doesn't work very well with the painting techniques I often use, I'm not very impressed. Although you get more paint for your money with Army Painter I'm probably going to switch back to Citadel once this can is empty.

I know what you mean ... I'm trying to paint up ALL of my Infantry for ALL my 10+ Epic Armies. Working on IG Cav now. And they take more time then the Infantry ... So I do other projects, like terrain, while the Cav drys awaiting the next step ...   No rest for the wicked !  :D
