And it is a Death Korps 'Seige Tractor' ..http://www.specialist-games.com/ ..interesting....
..The pics of the week are also good, as the painted Landing Craft is there, which didn't appear when it was up earlier in the week.. (I just got a red x). Think I'll reserve judgement for now, until I see some from different angles, but it does look suitably massive!

Thanks for the heads up, when I looked earlier this morning the pic of the week were the last ones still.
The lander looks okay, but the front is rather boxy.

Wow! I love 'em both!
The landing craft is massive. I wonder how much they will cost? ?15 to ?20?
And the Kreig Regiments are looking good. The release schedule lists 4 packs...I wonder what they will be?
Cheers
Chris

Yeah, it is boxy, but I would expect that is where all the other troops on foot are transported. It lands, and then they all pour out of the front!
Cheers

Is it just me, or does the seige tractor look suspiciously like an old Gorgon?

Quote (nealhunt @ 13 2003 Nov.,16:02) | Is it just me, or does the seige tractor look suspiciously like an old Gorgon? | Exactly what I was thinking. I think They've re-named it since the Gorgon was always supposed to be Super Heavy sized, but the models never lived up to the fluff.

I like the S/Tractor, which does remind me of the Gorgon 2 & 3. I'll buy both the Lander and Tractor when they are released ... but I'll probably buy most of the new Epic stuff, anyway !

Hi!
I thought Gorgon too, but is it big enough to be a good proxy for it?

And Yes, Chris, that would make sense to have the crews/troops travel in the cargo bay and mount their vehicles that are slung loaded along the hull, once the Lander is on the ground. Vehicles were always slung loaded empty with the crew riding inside the lift ship ... Even G/W may have seen the logic in it ! Or not !

For some reason, the front end of the lander reminds me of the old 'flying castle' Thunderhawk - with lots of stuff which has grown out of it. Still, I like it - a Landa by another name....what's in a name

Ugh! Me pro'bly stupid 'cause me can't find da seeje traktor. Only da 'oomie landa and da pansy krooza.
That said, the landing craft DOES look much better when painted. Maybe I'll get one after all. Or two. Or...
