Still don't know what to use as wheels apart from green stuff. And i don't know how to mould something.

Is there an archtectural store nearby? They always seem to have all sorts of weird and wonderful bitz. Perhaps they have some plastic discs that could be used for wheels.

Actually, having said that, what about those back end pieces for ear rings? You might be able to find a size that's close to what you need.

I'll think on it some more...

In-scale wheels would have a diameter of 1 or 2mm. Ottermans Spuddguns have wheels the size of earring back pieces.

And never heard of an architectural store    But if you mean a hobby store then i know a couple to visit.

BL,

Architecture stores are for people who make models of buildings that you sometimes see on display prior to the building breaking ground. Also, it just occurred to me that model railroad shops might have wheels that size.

Just a thought.

Railroad shops! *facepalm* Off course  :grinning:  I think here is one.

Edit: Yep. Even have some military vehicles there. I guess Z Gauge wheels from Bundeswehr tanks look similar enough :)

Wow thanks for the pics and feedback everyone. There are definitely some good ideas here that had not even occurred to me. What I have are the EA IG sprues and was looking for some inspiration on how to model these as I'm not too keep on buying the ones from SG, they seem pricey for just 4 teams.

I too used mostly E40K plastic infantry with some older infantry as well. I arranged the bases like this:
1) Standard bearer, 2 auto-cannons, 2 loaders
2) Vox-caster, 2 auto-cannons, 2 loaders
3&4) Spotter, 2 auto-cannons, 2 loaders

Since the standard bearer and spotters were of the old Cadian infantry type, I just slapped on some greenstuff to make long coats.
