I'd like to make an apology at this point.  In my first game against Gavin I (very quickly) developed an unerring ability to throw nothing but 1's and 2's.  This bounced back against poor Sam. In a big way.
My ability in game 3 to through critical after critical against all his war engines actually left me feeling guilty!  Blowing his Landa + onboard warband out the sky as it attempted a ground assault on turn 1 was just a sign of things to come.  By the end of the game I (iirc) think they had all suffered the same fate.
Another really enjoyable game against a great opponent who didn't let his misfortune stop him smiling.
Yeah, I think you managed to asplode at least 4 of the 6 like that... After the first couple I got used to it though. "Ah, a damage point, time for Darren to roll another 6... *boom*"
Thanks to all three of my opponents for some enjoyable and educational games - hopefully I'll make it to another event (with a more sensible army and a better grasp of tactics!).
