right

honour guard would that be all 6 bases or or just 2 in tactical detachment
i see in the 40k codex it says 5-10 marines

what would you do?

An honour guard only accompanies the Chapter Master, so I'd do two bases, with Lord Dante as your Supreme Commander.

Yep, they have jump packs, so I'd do an assault formation with a supreme commander, and paint the character base and 1 extra as honour guard. It can be all gold or red with a gold helmet iirc.

I've checked and just the helmet is gold on an Honour Guard marine, rest red as normal.

The captains of each company and their chapter master Commander Dante (jump packed supreme commander) wear gold all over - uniquely Dante's Honour Guard wear gold over too now it seems going by the newest codex.

Honour Guard accompany a character as his personal bodyguards. If the character has a jump pack, the Honour Guard will have too, if not then they won't. Therefore in epic could either be with tactical or assault marines (probably more characterful to have them in a detachment that has a character of one kind or another if possible).

Did you catch the Blood Angels bug from playing Space Hulk or have you been doing them for a while? Judging by your other models I'm sure they'll come out really well.

Tycho is the only Blood Angels Captain with golden armour. Allother Captains wear red armour.
All Company Honour Guard are red with golden helmet.
Lord Dante wears golden armour and his Honour Guard wears golden armour too.

It seems that golden armour is a sign of artificer armour.

it was when the epic uk army lists came out, i converted 4 stands a death company and now think i should honour them
and do the rest of the army around them
