C'mon L4, you should be able to work it out from Land Plünderer. Hints: the first word is right and it's a bid dead tough transport / shooty tank.

I got it now !!  :;):  My Webtv was not "hi-tech" enough to properly view some of the German letters ...  But now I'm on my Lap Top and ...  "Alle ist Claer, Herr Commissar" ...
:blues:

Good news - the first samples of mutated Nashorns currently rampage through germany. Please note that I currently only have a few test samples, however within the next weeks I will be able to supply some of them to the rest of Europe. I will keep anyone informed once I'm ready to answer any requests so all interested guys: please be patient some more days

:grinning:

A massive pain, but for future unordered stuff who would prefer teh original style of Epic models, but rescaled to fit the modern interpretations?

If you were doing original style then I'd prefer original scale too.

Do you guys not think the newer models not superior to the older ones? I'd have zero interest in older styled models myself and I suspect the majority would likely prefer current style ones like the lovely Nashorn.

That's a nut, GlynG.
I would be hard-pressed to want these new chassis in a Heresy battle...

You are probably right Gyln. Though odd people like me may prefer to have the heresy era gear with the traitors and the new stuff with the loyalists (though these would be great for Red Corsairs and the like). Still it may motivate me to try and do something with my time here and do the old style ones in a tortuous cad malaky thing (I mean, is it really as hard as it looks? :) ).

What I don't like about the old models is that they are scaled for the original marines who are a damn sight shorter than the mk7's and a whole lot shorter than the Chaos marine models currently being sold.

I really wish GW had picked a consistant scale for Epic from the start. Every race seems to be a different scale, and war engines are always undersized (excluding some FW ones).

Some of the old designs were really nice. For example I still like the old Bubble turret Predator a lot. The E40k Vindicator is also a favourite of mine. The current Land speeders are awfull IMO. Of course model quality in terms of detail has improved, but in terms of design, a lot of the old things have some good things going for them. I think it is no coincidence that Forge World had a good look at the SM2/TL era plastic dreadnought when they designed their Venerable Dreadnoughts.

Will some people prefer the current designs with spikes added? Sure. But personally I just think some updated versions of the old design would be a lot of fun!
