Sorry I'm overposting but besides slowly waddle towards the objectives and enemy, what tactics do you gentlemen find that works?
Some of it is to do with rules mechanics. For example one MRL does 3bp. Have 2 and you do 6bp. Which is 2 templates
and an extra BM to the target formation(s).
The 'Reaver' list will probably need an update under the new costings, it was designed with cheaper reavers in mind and a gruelling slog with the enemy aiming to win vs poorly set up objectives and not to lose against someone who knew what they were doing (which is not the same as winning

).
I tend to ensure each Reaver has 1 CC weapon to deter attackers . 2 seems unlikely to be much use.
Tactics are all about getting and contesting key objectives while knowing when to rally and staying in woods and ruins as much as possible to get the -1 to hit.
If that (3 Reavers) is what you want to use off the top of my head I would change it too the following, but bear in mind its going to give away the BTS due tot he god machines rule as few competitive armies cannot take down one reaver. You have to play ultra conservative and I suspect rally a lot to avoid this.
Reaver 1: Laser Burner (carapace), Turbolaser Destructor (arm), Turbolaser Destructor (arm): 625
Reaver 2: Laser Burner (carapace), Turbolaser Destructor (arm), Turbolaser Destructor (arm): 625
Reaver 3: Carapace landing pad, Apocalypse Missile Launcher, Apocalypse Missile Launcher:  625
Thunderbolt Squadron: 150
2025 On battle Titans and planes
Warhounds get suppressed and broken an awful lot in this list, especially due tot he activation difference. TLD's are better on the Reavers as a result.
Warhound Pack: Inferno Gun/Vulcan megabolter, Inferno Gun/Vulcan megabolter: 500
Warhound: Plasma Blastgun, Vulcan Megabolter: 275
775 on warhounds
So 200 left for more activations/upgrades/better weapons.
Options are more planes, better guns (the reaver could have quake cannons) or changing a reaver into a Warlord (for 150), upgrades like an SC or inspiring, or sentinels to guard the fire support Reaver from teleporters.

Also, I seem to notice the Tripple Reaver scheme is less than favorable on this board, can someone post their experience on this matter?  This may be because I find the Warlord model sexier than the Reaver >_>
There should be a bunch of bat reps, however remember this was under the last list iteration.
