Greetings from the NetERC!

Here's our fourth "big" section... and you'll notice it's labelled at "Section 6"... two more "Imperium related" sections need to fit in there, but they're still being worked on.

This is the Orks document and it contains:

Ghazgkhull's War Horde (Standard Orks)
Speed Freeks
Feral Orks
Orkamedies Gargant Bigmob
Blood Axe War Horde
Blood Axe Mercenaries

Not a lot of tweaking had to be done with the lists, mainly writing out some implied/assumed special rules for clarification.

Take a look and let the comments fly!

Ok now I'm starting to get confused with all these ork lists going around. What is this list going to be used for and why the difference with the uk-epic list just released.

Guess My question will be what will the standard list be.

(btw I'm not having a go at anyone)

Short answer is it up to you and your gaming group to decided.

If going to a tournament its the tournament organisers decision.

Thanks for the quick reply, there is quite a few differences between these two lists. its the only reason I raised the subject.

Please could we add Bommerz to the main ork list? Far as I'm aware there's no compelling reason not to and it would give those who own the lovely FW models more opportunity to use them. They are currently only in the OGBM and the Blood Axe list, but they're just large bombers and not associated with any particular ork subset and so should be available to all ork lists (except Feral and possibly Speed Freaks), like Marauder Bombers are for imperials.

I'm not familiar with the development but is it necessary to have two Blood Axe lists? Could things maybe not be worked out and combined like other lists have done?

Possibly consider adopting the points drop for the Kill Kroozer as Epic-UK have done? I get the impression it's not worth it or taken at the moment.

So what is the OGBM currently (other than a horror to face), experimental?

EpicUK lists are put out by the UK tournament gaming circle, and are based on their own rules development.

ERC lists are put out by the NetEpic Rules Committee, and are based on the rules development that happens on the Tactical Command messageboard.

And it's basically up to you which set of lists you'd like to use, if any.*

*Unless you're playing in UK Tournaments, where it's 90% EpicUK only.

The idea is that this netERC document should become the international standard, with local groups using their own lists instead if they wish, ala epicUK.

Should be just about ready, so we marked it "development".  If you think there is an abusive combo, have a crack at it.

We tried not to add units to established lists.  The only changes to the official lists are minor point tweaks.

Bommerz change the character of the list somewhat as well.  Orks have to chase after stuff on the ground.  Having a large-ish barrage available via aircraft changes that.

They have substantially different features.  Sumbuddieruvver's horde is still very orkified, even though it's Blood Axe.  Kolonel Rommel's has relatively unconverted looted imperial vehicles and some added randomness.

I think we need to work out the naming conventions so the distinction is clear on first glance as to what the lists represent, but I think the roles are different enough to justify 2 lists.

I'm okay with that, and probably with the 10 point Fortress drop as well.  Those are effectively new proposals that we hadn't seen until just recently.

I would second the GlynGs point. I think one of them should not be Blood Axe, but something else. People don't call them 'Sumbuddieruvver' but Blood Axe and having two complicates things.

Agreed. We need another name for one of them.
