Hello everybody,
I have got my new digi camera, and had a go at taking some pics.
Now bear in mind, I never had time to set anything up properly as my house is a mess because I'm having central heating fitted.
Also, these are my first attempts at pics, I only had the normal room light and flash for lighting and I dont really know how to use the camera or software yet. ?I'm just guessing.
With all the excuses out of the way, I'll now try and link to the photo's at my Yahoo photo album thing. ?I'm not very good at this (and the pics are taking for ever to upload) so please be patient.

Very nice minis! Oddly enough, the Stompa with the flames looks a bit Imperial-ish to me. Maybe it's because Warp Runners have similar color scheme.

I wanted to do a deth skulls clan. To be honest, I'm not sure on the blue yet. It is actually darker in real life (the flash has made it brighter I think).
I've added a couple more pics (should be about 3 or 4 now) but it takes about 5-10 mins for each one. I dont like this Yahoo rubbish.
What other options do I have for displaying pics? I'd be willing to pay a small amount I suppose.
I noticed that you dont get to view the pics at full size when following the links. They are quite big in 1:1 mode, and show detail a little better. Trouble is, I'm at work and my works computer doesn't have many options for doing pics. The only package I've found on it is Imaging, and that doesn't let me choose to save pics as Jpegs, which is what Yahoo needs.
AAAAAArrrrghhhh, I'm such a novice.

I can recommend irfan as a viewer. It copes extremely well for looking at pictures, and will give very basic options for modifying them, such as changing the format.

Quote (Markconz @ 06 2003 Nov.,11:14) | Nice work SH! ?Good to see some more ork stuff, personally I like the blue, its not overdone, still plenty of rusty metallics showing thru!! ? | Thanks. The Stompas were the experiment. I'm not sure whether to carry it over to the gargant yet or not. Also the vehicles don't have it either. I'll practise on the plastic guntrukks before ruining my FW ones.
I still think there's something missing though. Maybe the blue is a little too clean, though this could be because of the flash making it brighter as I said before.

Is this some picture software? I'll try it. Where do I find it? I'll look on the web, incase you can get it from there.
My computer at home may have some better things on (I dont know I haven't looked through what its got yet).

Yeah, nice stuff, especially that Warboss stand...
I edit my pics with Adobe Photodeluxe 1.0 ...not very adavnced, but I had it knocking about on my PC before I gt my camera, so it proved useful.. I should be geting Photoshop in a week or too though...
My Yahoo breifcase doesn't take long at all to upload pics.. probably because they are not half as big as yours tho...

Any stands that are based are old.
I dont know what colour base to use for EpicA yet. I experimented with some earth colour brown flock (on one of the dreads) as it looks like turned up earth, but its too dark. I think I need more of a contrast for the base, as the Orks I'm doing for EpicA are gonna be less vibrant than the ones I did for Epic40K.
So, basically all these pics are my experiments. I haven't yet decided on a colour scheme (I wanted to follow deth skullz) or a base. I also have yet to cut out all the bases for the vehicles. I need to do 2 more stands for the storm boyz and base them, the Gargant isn't finished, but I'll leave him until I know what scheme I'm happy with.
So much to do.....
