This one is not so plausible....I figure the chassis could carry enough ammo for a single burst of about .1 of a second  :;): .

That all depends on the ammunition, laser weapons would just require one mother of a generator :D.

Now that looks tasty... I think horizontal slits would look better, the circles just don't quite look right to me. Not quite sure if you need to widen the gun mantle or not... Give it a shot and we'll tell you what we think :)

I do like the design, but honestly I think it could use more barrels on that thing. Three per cannon seems a little light. I also think the barrels are a bit too long as well, to the point it really overshadows the rest of the tank and makes it appear top heavy. Perhaps even bringing the guns closer together could help make the top feel less overpowering as well.

It would also be nice if the front bit between the dreads that is currently a thick flat plane were a little thinner. It seems to me that would be a weak point in the armor giving the sloping nature of the turret.

The triple barrel design was really just an attempt to try something a little different. Seems everybody and their mother are making a standard 6 barrel "gatling" gun when doing a multi barreled weapon :D

I'll reserve judgement on the "top heavy" issue untill we've seen the prototype: To eliminate the turret clearing issue the entire turret was raised a bit on a small disc compared to the original concept, which is a bit unfortunate, but unavoidable. On the other hand the entire hull has also been widened a bit compared to the sketch and even more compared to the original Enforcer (which shares the same height). It is dificult to tell how much of an issue it is from this particular angle IMO, but I agree that the twin guns are quite massive, compared to the single gun variant. :) Right now it sort of reminds me of some of those planned WW2 German Super Heavy Tanks that never got produced (Can't remember the names right now)

With the flat bit, do you mean the small armor plate that sits between the front treads (I assume it was a typo :;): ) ?

(here's a bit of photoshop magic showing the Mk1 and 2 Enforcers side by side. The relative sizes should be fairly close, thought the look about the same width. In reality the new design should be something like 10-20% wider, but about the same length)

I was actually thinking 5 barrels could be interesting :) 6 seems a bit many. By top heavy I don't mean that the turret sits to high, just that it has most of the weight of the model visually. Partly this is because of the length of and distance between the two gatling cannons and partly because of their mass comparative to both the turret housing and hull of the tank.

That is correct, I think I was falling asleep when typing that. A nap has now been had.
