Hi Bans. Great :)

If you could snap a pic of a single model from roughly the same angle as MoKs Stompa (maybe a bit more from above) then it'd be perfect. A single model is better since it is more likely that the entire model is in focus that way. Makes it easier to remove the background that way :)

Send the pics to chris (at) mustangsalling.dk

Oh, and I know this can be difficult to control, but if at all possible, try to avoid light reflections. You can see a bit of it on the nose of the Bommer in the back and on the last of MoKs Stompa pics, and will looks a bit odd when the background is removed. This can be helped either by using artificial light or by diffusing light using a screen. I know it is being Mr. Nitpicky, but these sort of details is what will give Gold that little extra professional look ;) (Now of course it is possible that some of my own pics may be suffering from the problem, but it is always easier to see the splinter in your brother's eye than the log in your own :D ;) :p )

And recieved. Thanks mate :)

Bans could you snap a pic of that Bommer please?

And if anyone got a pic of a painted E:A Feral Ork Squig Katapult I'd be very thankfull. It is the last unit that's needed to finish the book. :)

I've been experimenting a bit. The Ork layout was begun many moons ago (well something like 4 years ago actually) back then ink conservation for home printing was very important but I think Epic Raiders and Siege has shown that there's sufficient interest in havig books made at places like Kinko to justify a bit more playful approach. One simple change would be to change the watermarked background pictures for the unit descriptions with full blown rusty metal sheets and change the font color. Readability suffers slightly (but different background images could also reduce that problem. This is just an experiment).

Just a quick voxpop: What do you prefer: full blown color or ink conservation?

New colorful version (bear in mind that some tinkering is of course required to increase readability)

Full blown color for me, please. I plan on having NetEpic Gold printed at Kinko's.

An updated full color with a few more things altered.

Here's a pdf that'll show readability a bit better:

This will be murder on an inkjet printer, but it would look pretty damn sexy from a professsional printer.

Hi!

Full blown color hands down....  :)

I want a book that has nothing to envy anything put out by GW.

The full blown color one fits the bill.

The full colour one is very pretty, but I think my vote might go to the ink conservation version for purely practical reasons.  How much difference would there be in the size of the download required for the 2 versions?

I suppose there's no plan for a printable version (that would not kill ink cardbridges in 2 pages) AND a professionnaly painted version that could be bought like Raiders was ?
