Let me know at some point if you'd like to use some or all or those MoK and/or any of my other scenery (can have a look when you come round to play). They'd need painting up, but would a good pretext for me to get round to doing so.

If any of the scenarios picked include "Fortifications" it would probably be a good idea to have enough for each table prepared ahead of time.

OK, I've got a fair number of bunkers, defence lines and emplacements too.

If you are really short of them I have a box at home but if I'm not back in time (I might be, just been offered a job at the MoD) someone will have to follow my instructions tot he letter and search the house :)

Agreed; does any one have feedback on what would be most sought after?
R>

Since you'll be using (testing?  *laugh*) Total War scenarios, I'll send some resin fortifications your way as well.

That's great thanks Chroma! really appreciated :-)

I'll be taking stock of scenery too soon soo will let poeple know what we need.

ONLY ONE TICKET REMAINING! Yes! THat's right we've nearly sold out of tickets for the winter warmer and there's only one place left so if you want to come now is the time to book via paypal (details at beggining of thread).  As ever it's first come first served; if anyone is unlucky enough to send payment after someone else i will, of course, be sending your money straight back!
Once we've sold out I'll make a list of people who would like to be informed if anyone else drops out; please post here if that's something you'd like me to do for you.
I can feel this is gonna be good!

With choices like free transports/pods do we have to chose when writing lists or do we get to keep the option to pick at battle time. I'm just curious if I normally pick pods and its a mission where the infantry have to be on the ground do I get the rhinos marines are supposed to have when they're deployed on the ground? Or is it just 'unlucky for you!'

Incidentally, how many boards am I going to need to collect from the club's stores?

I believe the EpicUK-written Space Marine army lists will be in play, and those lists allow you to perform the 'drop pod swap'.

No such luck for the Black Legion however.

Black Legion have never had that "swap" as an option at all... cuz they gotta pay if they wanna ride.  *laugh*

I think Space Marines should always have that option, as long as they haven't "spent" their Rhinos to get something else.

I'm ambivilent on it, though I believe the web community voted once and shot it down firmly.

I'm all for the Space Marine 'Swap' and that's what we'll be using' being a UK based tournament it's a good idea to stick with how everything else is working :-)

"Incidentally, how many boards am I going to need to collect from the club's stores?"

Between 6 and 7 Al, I'll be bringing my own and think that Ben is too. Will chat next week

It's a possibility if interest is shown; i'll have to make exact measurements of the venue and make a map. Obviously this would require 2 additional people per table ; -)
I've initially kept numbers small as this is the first event of the kind that i've run...but if there's demand...who knows!
