Cool!!!  I like getting everything in Plt Packs of 3 !  As well as "rare" stuff ... like the Baroness, Legion Cdr (which I mysteriously already have) and the Khazari Chief, I need !! 8v)  L/Cdr is next to the Sniper and the She is next to the L/Cdr  ...  :vD

Spot on L4 :)

The Amphibious APC is on hold for the time being. It is mounted a bit differently on the chassis than the other turrets (which simply sit on top of the hull) and there's some issues regarding the front hull vision slits that might cause problems. It would be easy enough if people were to carve off the slits before mounting the turret, but Tom would prefer if people could just assemble the model straight out of the box. This either means that some kind of holes need to be made in the underside of the turret, where the slits are located (which again causes some problems with metal that may be too thin to cast on the sides).
We also discovered that the models shrink a bit durig the bronzing and moulding process meaning that the production MBT hull is in fact almost 2 mm shorter than the blue version from Print A Part. We need to know if this shrinkage is consistent before attempting precision work where 0.1 of a mm would make all the difference if the turret fits or not.

An alternative option is to have one more MBT hull made which accounts for these problems but of course that is much more expensive, so there's also the question if an amphibious APC generates enough interest to be profitable.

As it is right now, there's no plans for further turret variants untill some other projects have been realized. ...But of course the project could be revisited if some great ideas pop up in the future.

Right now Otterman is tinkering with the treads for the updated Enforcer Super Heavy. The plan is to find new areas to improve the detail based on the lessons learned from the MBT.

And I think Tom is correct about the Amphtrack assembly ... but either way is good for me.  And Of course I'm in for a reworked Enforcer ... :)   As usual, I have faith in you, O-man & Tom to work out any of the problems.  As you all have done before. I remember when O-man was having trouble with the Cheese Carrier ... but he just showed us that it's almost complete ...  :))

I'm quite fond of it too. Mainly because I want to use it as a Chimera Proxy for my Catachans. :vD  It is fairly different from your average APC so as a proxy it might also be interesting as some kind of landing craft or whatever. We just need to some up with some ingenious way to make it fit the MBT hull in a cool way, I've been thinking of maybe adding some kind of pistons, reactive armor plates or whatever to the front sides to cover up the problem areas. Then again this area can't be too thick or it will get i the way of the headlights on the treadguards. Ah well. All problems that are there to be solved :)

I'm sure you smart guys will figure it out ! :agree:  I like the Amphtrack model & concept. Even though APCs like my "Beloved" M113, can swim. They are not truly amphibious.  They would most likely be swamped by heavy surf.  The USMC AAV is truly an Amphtrack. So if the E/W version of an Amphtrack is produced it would fill that slot ... :;):

The evaluation copies of the last turrets arrived from Otterman today.

First up is the IFV, Flame thrower tank, Tank Hunter and APC turrets.

The tank hunter will have a slight adjustment to the gun shield and the IFV may require some rework. The main concern here is the very long and thin barrel that may not cast well nor be very durable for gaming. I think we may end up redesigning the shape of the turret as well so it is slightly wider.

And the Command tank/Scout tank turret.

The basic turret, the turret with the sensor arm in upright position and finally a version with the arm removed.

While waiting for more updates from O-man I just thought I'd dig out the resin prototype turrets for a full lineup of what's been done so far. Still missing is the Amphibious APC, but Tom has given the go-ahead for a revised version of that, so we might do that once the Exterminator is finished.

From left to right:
MBT - Tank Hunter - IFV - Flamethrower - APC - Command/Scout - Mortar - SPA - MRL - AA
