As part of my propoasl for the Titan Legion (Here) list I suggested a 2/3 limit of points that can be spent on titans.

I would like to get an idea if such a limit is palatable to the community, so I thought I would start a poll.

If you'd like to explain your reasoning behind your vote please do, but lets not argue those reasons here.  Please make your statement and leave discussion of other opinions for another thread.

Yes - a wall of WE with void shields is too problematic and changes the metagame too much - especially because 4 of them are at speed 30.

No. It's a Titan Legion list, not a Tech Guard one (we already have that list aswell, no point in having 2).

NO. again, if your gonna change something in the titan legion list, change the titans not the number of titans i can take. you change this, then i can see them changing my big mob as well.

Oh and something else to bear in mid if its was a 2/3 restriction you would probably have to have 2 or 3 more support options to use up the points and not make it a cookie cutter selection (like for example here).

I would rather ramp up the base costs of the hulls so you simply don't have as many Titans on the table, if the list is proven overpowered.

No, the point of this list (to me) is to play a Titan Legion. If it turns out to be overpowered, tweaks to the weapons and points costs should fix it.

I voted "no" too because I see this list as a Titan Legion where it should be possible to field all titans. I too think, that points increases on the hulls (or perhaps List Building Requirements like "You can take single Warhounds only if you field Warlords") are better suited to meet the problems.

I have seen AMTL (FR version) lists in action, whilst it was agreed that version was quite overpowered

NO. Like many people have noted before me, its a Titan Legion, the entire point of a Titan Legion is for it to be comprised almost entirely of Titans - adjusting the weaponry/stats is the way to alter the ballance, not ecourage people not to take Titans.

Personally however I've not seen anything wrong with the current list, I've seen it beaten by other lists, I've seen it beat other lists - right now I think this is pretty much BALLANCED as far as my opinions go - completely overhauling it is the wrong road to go down at the point C&E reached.

im glad the poll is speaking for itself. up the points on the hulls, tweak the weapons. thats my answer.

A 2/3rd hard limit for Titans?? No - no way!!

If this change was made then I would refuse to use any new list with this change, and if necessary give up playing AMTL.

I'm with the majority - when I play AMTL, I use nothing but Titans. If the list only allowed 2/3, I wouldn't bother; that's only a 1/3 more Titans than I can field in a Marine army!

AMTL = 3/3 Titans.  

Now, if you'd asked about dropping everything non-Titan from the list, I'd have happily voted yes!
