im interested in getting into a C based army, as a bigmob and AMTL player, i rely on my guns and involve myself with very little CC. my knoweldge fo the game is pretty good, except for said CC, which i think a CC army will help me do.

what suggestions are there for me starting out? im prolly gonna sculpt all the small stuff myself, see as the models are nigh impossible to get.

im hoping tyranids have sufficient CC capability in epic?

Except for one unit, *ALL* Tyranid creatures have a close combat capability... heck, some *only* have close combat ability!  *laugh*

Tyranids tend towards being an "assault" army, so a combination of strong close combat and decent firefight ability; many units have "extra" close combat attacks, often of fearsome strength.

ok cool. it gonna be a slow project, but i look forward to it. i looked over the latest rules, not as confusing as their BFG counterparts but still more intensive then my normal "12 SHT and a warmonger" gryphonne builds.

a question. does the tyranid list have something akin to the OGBM or AMTL list where is all bio titans?
