Ah, heck, I'm in. I've just started an AMTL army that will likely take most of the rest of the year to do, so why not?

Thread coming soon.

Perhaps I should have made a limit on the number of good modlers/painters entering this.. Ive seen some of the work you guys do before and I think i will soon feel inadequate.

On the otherhand it might inspire me to do a bit more.

Good luck Axel.

Hum.
I've already suscribed at almost the same thing on a french epic forum, another about 40k, got FOW, WFB & BFG mini to paint too and just begun a bloodbowl league...
And I don't like painting only one army, I prefer paiting a few units then change so I don't think I'll participate but good luck to everybody and have fun painting !

Alright, you got me in, I'll do some eldars. That's the epic army where I've got just 5000 point painted so 2500 point more at least would be cool.

I will revive my epic painting by committing to a chaos army, I think about 2000pts a month is a good target   This should be fun, really looking forward to see how everyone goes!

Hey folks

Any opinions on whether this should be an army only thing or could I include my terrain log I'm thinking about starting?

Some of you may have seen on the terrain forum that I'm planning a portable box of 6mm terrain including hills, ruins, landing pads, a imperial rail yard and so on.  Could I join in the fun with a cluster of terrain pieces a month?

For as it is occasionally said, 'terrain is just as vital to a fun game as armies, and is often overlooked'.  Well I said it then anyway!

Sounds good to me :) The important thing should be to have plenty of nicely painted Epic stuff every month. If it is terrain or miniatures is less important IMO. It is all good for promoting the possibilities of Epic scale.

Who's managed to keep up to plan...?

Well, I'm up to date so far, but then I deliberately went for an army where it would be easy to paint a large number of points in a short space of time, and I also kept my planned points low for August while I was still working on my Chaos Marines.

I should be able to keep up to schedule in September, as long as GW get on and send the stuff I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, the extra bases I ordered along with it have been out of stock, which is holding everything up.

I've passed the 500 pt mark but not kept up to my own target (6 stands of infantry short)

I feel your pain with bases, but I admire you for buying the GW ones, I couldn't bring myself to spend so much on them. Instead I'm making mine out of 2 layers of plasticard, still got 10 more to do.
