any suggestions?

for reference the rest of my titan legion is:

2 warhounds inferno/TL
1 reaver apoc missile launcher/gatling blaster/volcano cannon

Depends on what you want to do with it. Just CC alone, stick two laser burners on there for extra attacks, but since you already have two CC weapons on it I guess it could be complimented with a melta cannon or two as well to ensure BTS :)

If you want to add some ranged help to it, tack on a couple of TLD or perhaps Gatling blasters.

Seeing this Titan as a baseline defence Titan, I'd suggest one long range weapon, and one free weapon either to complement its engagement role, or to provide a little light ranged fire.

So I'd go with a Support Missile for weapon 1 (something to complement the other Titans in your list, so a Barrage if you're light on AP, or a Vortex if light on TK, etc).

For weapon 2, either a Lasburner, or an inferno gun.

I've looked at this from a different angle and given my CC Warlord 2 Las Blasters on its carapace. If the enemy decides to keep away from you, you still have 12 shots at them. I see my warlord as following up in suppport of my Reaver and Hounds assault.

im stuck on the chainfist arm weapons almost purely out of looks alone. i was thinking of 2 support missiles and 2 chainfists. but how often does a titan really make it into CC with anything?

With only a 15cm move, you're only going to get it into CC if your opponent lets you. I'd say give it some long range firepower (Gatling Blasters or TLDs) or just double down and tyhrow some Inferno or Melta Cannons on it.

If it's your BTS it'll make it into combat more often than you'd think.

If you are trying against any army you should manange it once but it can mean funneling them, holding onto an area of ground they have to take etc.

I see CCW's as defensive weapons only because too many armies are skimmers for my liking, plus a lot of anti titan measures are CC based.

If you want an offensive assault _Warlord_ las burners are the way to go (sad when you consider that 2+ CC!) as the slow speed means CC is even more of a trial.

Typically Warlord forces have them as backstops and blitz guards so they don't have to move. I'd take a 3 MRL/1 CLP any day of the week.

Personally I think its a bit sad the warlord isn't as favoured as a reaver most of the time, but in the GT scenario speed counts for too much.

If its a blitz guard, Quake Cannon and Carapace Landing Pad.

This was my thought aswell.
MW barrages able to hit the entire board and if those Terminators come knocking, the CCW will hurt them a lot.

Why not go the whole hog, get two macro cannon and the CLP and 1 ccw - but now of course we have completely moved away from the close combat warlord :)

Mainly cost TRC, those Quake Cannons are pricey.  It also keeps that extra FF punch (&CC not that it needs it) with the Las Burner.  Onyx sums up the reasons well.
