Let me be very clear on this issue. It is dead. You can second guess the decisions that were made with the information that was available, but that isn't going to change the decision. Dropping the drone transportation helped accomplish one of the earlier goals of streamlining the special rules.

Again, it would have been helpful if the both of you (Rug & TRC) were available to provide input at the time the decision was made, but you weren't. That happens sometimes.

To be fair, Honda, that thread only debated the weapon stats of the various units, and the planet-falling question. As Rug and others have noted this particular transport option was not really discussed at all. Smitty and I did try to find a way to resolve Drones in a separate thread, but this was dropped in favour of testing more urgent elements in the list.

And while I really would like to see "The return of the Drones" in my local cinema, I agree we need to move on for now, and I am satisfied that you have spelled out that this is a first cut list for evaluation purposes - Drones can (and will) be considered later along with other points.
