The Mossinian stats have never been playtested as far as I know.

If its the original stats yes they were, have they been changed?

Slightly, not by much IIRC.

IIRC the most significant change is that you'd costed it at 175pts and I put it to 200pts.

I beleive E&C made a model (or was it jonluke) that had modern sponsons, in other words the twin heavy bolter/lascannon combo. The Moss one is for the old model which is a smallish horrible undetailed things so gets second strand stats.

Its all coming back! :)
Well maybe the stats should match which model is used?
Making it a choice between the moss one and the jonluke one (with the pic to match presumably). The JL one is a damn sight better so perhaps it should be the one for this loverly publication?
Giving the baseline of 15cm, 3dc, 4+RA, CC6+, 4 twin heavy bolters, 4 lascannon and two twin cannons (of mutable stats) along with a changable FF. Is the main guns and FF value changes enough to balance it?

Nah the Mossinian list has a clear theme of using OOP models (like the old Deathstrikes, infantry, rough riders, etc), so they should stick with the OOP Stormhammer too, regardless of how ugly it is. :)

Probably not. It's pretty powerful at the moment.

Sorry I was saying ugly model for useless infantry, JL model for shiny tank army.

A friend from the german Epic board asked me to post his proposed stats for the Stormhammer and likes to have feedback. Here they are:

8 AP4+ shots seems pretty horrific when you consider there may be a company of 3 of them.

2X Twin snub battlecannons works better, and matches what the model has.
