Beautiful work, but it still looks like a Reaver to me. Sorry.

Looks good but here someideas:

The lower legarmour needs borders as the upper leg armour has.
Other possibility would be to extend the upper legarmour over the lower leg armour. So reverse style of the kneecap-less Space Marine legs (it seems all previous Warlord designs have this indentation at the top of the lower leg armour). This would give the legs a more similar appearance of the Warhound (look as the rear legs of four-llegged animals: short upper leg, short lower leg, long feet and they stay only on the tip of the feet)

IIRC onWarseer it was said than the guy who developed the FW Reaver has said that if they willmake new carapace weapons for the Reaver they will look something like battleship turrets and will use propably use the same weapons as the Warhound has.
So how about using the Warhound weapons and stick them upside down on top of the carapace? Would be the same concept as all Titan weapons had in trevious incarnations.

And from this pictures here:

It seems that the Warhound and Reaver uses the same engine? So should't the Warlord use it too? Perhabs with extra ventilation grilles like the Reaver has under the two main ones.
The engine should also be more in the middle of the Titan and more forward tha non the Raver and Warhound.
In SM/TL days and older you could hit the Plasma Reactor of a Warhound only from the Rear, of a Reaver only from Rear or the Sides but of a Warlord from Rear and Front (but not from the Sides).

And i think the Warlord would look evenbetter with this head:

or this one:

Yes yes yes! JL this is amazing! That grunts eye view really did it for me!
Echoing the call for an indentation in leg armour below the knee; perhaps making room for the knee 'cog' to be shown as detail.
More details on the bottom of the chin please. Wires/tubes/raised bits?

The lower legarmour needs borders as the upper leg armour has.

However, I do not wish to make this border until the final shape has been realized otherwise I have to do it all over again.

Knee Pads are being considered.

Will Hayes designed and built the new Reaver Titan.

This is ForgeWorlds intention, that all the weapons are generic in use, not specific to each individual Titan.

Because I've designed this Robot to have the carapace weapons where they are now. it's a fairly integral part of my design and changing that decision would require a rebuilding and rethinking of the entire top half of this model.

It seems that the Warhound and Reaver uses the same engine?

This robot has a similar engine design to both the reaver and the warhound, which incidentally have different engines, just similar. See the picture attached to this post.

Why?

There will be more heads, but they will all be new designs.

Knee pads are being considered, the look of the open knee section with the cogs visible is something E&C and myself are very fond of, so the cog will definately be at least a little visible.
The Shin armour is what I'm currently playing with, the shape in all the pics so far is slightly out of date. More will be coming soon.
The Head is not yet finished. He also needs eyes, a filling of the gap between his nose and his nose armour would also be good.

Not really my cup of tea to be honest    Either have the kneecap as a seperate piece or leave a bit of the mechanic bits exposed for some interesting painting opportunities

Leaving it open is my choice too.

I think leaving it open would be fine, and I'm sure kneepad or not it'll be as well-realised as the rest of the project has been so far.  I'm a bit partial to the open knee as well, it's nice to see the workings.

I hope you're still ok with all these comments, I'm sure everyone is just trying to be helpful.  :)

It seems that the upper leg armour protrudes farther from the leg than the lower leg armour?
If yes then i would design the indentation at the knee the other way round so that it is a protrusion of the same size. So it will look if the armour of the upper and lower leg could fit like pieces from a puzzle but you will still see the mechanic of the knee joint. The MK3 Warlords legs are similar designed.

And for the carapace-weapns-on-top-of-carapace-in-battehsip-turrets thingy you don't need to redesign the whole carapace. You just have to merge the weapon housing and the shoulder armour to one piece and there stick the weapon turrets on top of it. You could use the weapon casing as the battleship-turrets.

BTW nice groin armour  :D

Mate,

I think the open look is far better than the additional armour covering the knee.

Cheers

Been playing with making the thigh armour "slot" into the shin armour, still messing about with it.

Cheers, I'm quite pleased with the groin piece, gotta make all workin' gubbinz behind it now.
