Well, after listening to the boosted damage podcast I think a different Friday afternoon game will be in order. I don't fancy playing the 4 placed player in the national championships  :p

Seriously, congrats to Andy H for placing 4th in the UK national Hordes and Warmachine championship.

Now get back to a proper scaled game

They use a funny scoring system.  Under most systems, I'd have been 2nd/3rd.  I won 4 games and drew 1.  The guy who came second won 4 and lost 1 - to me.  Go figure. :oo:

Anyhow, thanks.   :)

I am geting back to a proper scaled game - my additional models I need for Britcon are awaiting painting on my desk right now......

IMPORTANT NOTICE - The rules errata on the BHGS website are currently incorrect. Epic-UK have informed them of this and we hope to get this resolved ASAP.

Players should refer to the rules appendix on the Epic-UK website here

You've still got time to enter this tournament if you want ... but you need to be quick.

Also army lists are due in on the 1st August; please email chairman@epic-uk.co.uk

Thank you

Sent you mine.

I'm playing Dark Angels (so I'm obviously not trying to win!)

I *really* wanted to go but my masters essays then painting schedule was a tad uh unrealistic... the essays still not quite having being finished, meaning I have a grand total of zero models painted, which isn't much use :sigh:

I'm assuming the armies need to be painted? Unlikely... but I don't suppose any kind soul might consider loaning me an army for the duration of the tournament by any chance? Bearing in mind I haven't met any of you (with the exception of Man of Kent). I'd look after it as good as or better than my own and take especially delicate care with the models. In the event anything should be lost or damaged I'd reimburse it in full and then some for painting, possibly exchange a deposit for it or whatever was wanted. If so, and there should happen be a choice, my preferred army to use would be Craftworld Eldar. I'm just getting back into playing and would likely score very poorly, but it'd be great to get a good bunch of games in and meet some of you guys.

You can borrow my Eldar if you like. Unfortunately they're my only spare army ATM but they look nice on the table and you'd have plenty of choice.

Yey  Thanks Rug, that'd be great!

Eldar were the army I particularly wanted to use.

Best to get your form of this week if you can!
