Crazy week is crazy :) Done with the speeders, not the best but they will work for the game saturday. I'll probably come back and add some more highlights to pick out details and maybe some form of script to the a couple of the others.

The next tactical detachment is nearing completion as well. Just have to paint up the base and flock before they are done which should happen tomorrow evening.

Cutting it closest to the deadline is my last warlord titan. We seem to have lost the volcano cannons for it so instead of just making arms, we had to start in on scratchbuilding cannons well. There is a good chunk done with the basic shape in place and hopefully we can get the full detailed and with a coat of primer tomorrow night so I can get them painted and attached to the warlord in time for the game.

Pic of the speeders:

and back with the completion of project two for the week. Finished up the tactical detachment's basing tonight before moving on to the final project of the week with help from my friend.

So far we have the volcano cannons built and the arm attachments built so now we just need to attach the cannons to the arms and the make sure it attaches to the the titan correctly before bascoating the bits for painting tomorrow.

Tactical detachment:

And a quick update before base coating the bits, but this is the result of losing the original volcano cannons. With much help from a friend of mine, and most of the last two evenings, I think that the last titan will be ready for battle tomorrow night.

Great looking drop ships and warlord titan. Also well done on the volcano cannons, are they ravenwing assault cannons?

Those volcano cannons are amazing :D

The subtle ruin and wire flying stands for the land speeders are also very effective.

Thanks for the kind words!

Time for a quick break since all that remains is painting the gold detail on the weapons and gluing them in place. Yes the were based around the ravenwing assault cannons. Made for a very effective platform to have left and right arms and seemed about the right size. Another plus, If I really want to I could use them as quake cannons too.

And two bottel top lids/tubes?

Edit - not bottom but bottle. They look like the bits through which you spirt super glue. The white bits on the guns above that is.

TRC: I don't understand what part you are referring to.

I managed to get the arms painted and the titan assembled before the game this afternoon which ended up being somewhat uneventful since we weren't able to finish out the last two turns.

This finishes up my Titan legions army for the time being but I won't get shots of the full army until tomorrow sometime.

Mate,

Very nice, very very nice. The new cannons look great, so when are you going to make another set and add some additional armour to the outside so we can mount them on Mk III Warlords?

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks, I'd thought about adding in the armor on the sides but decided against it. Perhaps I'll think about it if I decide to do another set of the cannons.

I was able to get the pic taken for the full force so here is all 6500 points of Titan legions. Maybe I'll eventually add another reaver and a SG warlord or two.

and a high res for those interested:
