Good call, but could you not do the nicer Forge World Mars Alpha Leman Russ instead? Pretty please?

It's the original sort the other Leman Russes were based on and is subtley nicer than the GWs (while being similar enough that it's 100% obviously a Leman Russ and most people might not even notice the difference). It's also the version of the tank backgroundwise Krieg are meant to use (good for Mars ad-mech armies too) so it'd fit your themes.

This one, as posted, is the new Leman Russ design.

They've changed some minor details on the side panels, the modified angle of incline on the front hull by ~20 degrees, and created a longer turret design...

...oh and a plastic Demolisher gun. :)


ould you not do the nicer Forge World Mars Alpha Leman Russ instead?


Possibly at a later stage, but my priority would be to get a standard Leman Russ that combines greater-than Forgeworld quality with the correct weapon armaments of the SG Russ.

Actually I had in mind a Mars Alpha turret/hull with a lascanon (not sure if they supply one with standard model but it can be seen on the anhilitor variant) and sponsons (probably as normal just with MA style heavy bolters) - maybe having the sponsons as a separate piece is case anyone wanted to leave them off.
