What scale are DP9 ?  10mm ? 15mm ?

The battletech line from Iron Wind minis is 6mm; the Dark Age stuff is nominally N scale, but their scale is erratic at best (so is the Iron Wind stuff in some cases).

I don't know the exact scale of the DP9 stuff. I have seen the game played, and the robot-thingies stand about 1.5" tall or so. I know that some people who play Battletech in N scale use them as proto-mechs, so that would put them about half the size of a 3" tall mech. I have no clue what that makes the infantry, though.

I have some of the Battletech: Dark Age battle armour. Would some comparison pics of that against say, a dreadnaught and some infantry help at all? The Dark age figs are the N-scale clicky stuff.

Thanks "T" ...  I'm guessing then DP9 Infantry is about 10-12mm.  Which I believe is N scale = 1/160th ... IIRC

I actually just checked Wikipedia, and apparently DP9 is 1/144th, but it can vary by as much as 10% depending on when the sculpt was produced.

Ah ... that makes sense ... so that's a little smaller than 15mm ?

Yeah, it seems to fall right between 15mm and N-scale, so that is what? 12mm or so?


I guess your first guess was pretty accurate.    Impressive!

Yeah ... I think this came up with some stuff I bought from MiniFigs ... 12mm( + or - ) is pretty close ... Vehicle sizes are generally good for Epic.  But Infantry is too big/tall ...
