What, more stuff for Exodus Wars? What am I going to do with all the money that Tom gives me? Make a pile to roll around in?

Build a house out of solid gold? Purchase a diminutive island nation? Stage an autocratic coup in the country of your choice? Fund a single day of expensive's for a standard specificiation child? Purchase a blister pack from GW?

The options are limitless!

These 15mm "UAV Hoverdrones" from GZG could make reasonable hammerhead proxies or something?

Seriously though: What sort of weapon options are needed for an organically shaped hover tank to fulfill the needs of the Tau list (I'm not too familiar with the list and the range of Tau models)?

Also what sort of light vehicles would be needed?

Well, as has been pointed out that the hull will be available in the form of the skyray.

So a rail cannon, blaster, arty and transport type turret for the current list.

Command horizon skimmers were my back up Tau choice for a while now.

suggestions and requests from the community could very well be worked into that project if there's an interest.

I am sure that the phrase "if you build it, they will come" has never been truer in this case.

One would have 1 army's worth right here...

The N scale Battle Armoured infantry from the WizKids Mechwarrior CMG make great Battlesuits, and have the advantage of being a) the right size, b)durable and c) DIRT cheap.  If you want to swap some off me sing out :)

Ah ha!  A topic I know much about.  When I went to write the netepic Tau codex ages ago I looked into this.  Here are the options I found:

Fire Warriors/Pathfinders:
GZG 6mm UNSC Marines hardsuit infantry platoon (Code: DSM-135)
DRM Kraytonian Karrok II and Guard (Code: RI0007)

Crisis/Broadside Battlesuits:
GZG AT-71B Hound Dog Support Walker Heavy support(Code: DSM-140)
DP9 Northern Gear Fleet Scale Counter Pack (Code: DP9-940)

Kroot Infantry:
GZG 6mm Kra'Vak infantry platoon (Code: DSM-134)

Vehicles:
Any of the Brigade Models “PacFedâ€Â

My friend brought round some jump pack infantry from Battletech which would probably be well suited to battlesuits. Now, if I can find the image... Vermis, any help?

D.

Sah!  Yes sah!

Battletech minis are available from Ral Partha Europe in the UK, and IIRC... yes, Iron Wind Metals in the US.

IIRC the minis D and I saw were the Fa-shih battle armour, item code 20-973 here.  Soon as I saw them I said to our mewchal akwaintanse "You know what you bought?  Epic Tau battlesuits."  They seem fairly similar in some respects and about the right size.
