Approved by players who have played this version of Epic for much longer than I have would be my personal recommendation  :) .

As for balance issues, I think that this is always going to pose a problem for lists which have not been sufficiently play tested.

Perhaps, a section could be reserved at the back of the army lists section of the book for experimental lists?

I support Morgan's sentiments, clean white all the way.

My only suggestion, if you include the Squats, call them squats. That is the official GW name for them (derogatory or not) and what people and newcomers relate to. You can then have the two clans as lists if you want much like the IG have different lists.

Marine variant lists should only be included if they are significantly different. Otherwise much like the white scars, just a small section for each one.

Yes! New Handbook would be great!

As for Lists i don´t care too much, as we are using several Experimental Lists so or so in our Group.

Thanks for all the comments everyone. Much to ponder, especially now that I've just seen Hojyn's new Epic Compendium, which seems to have  already done much of what I was thinking of doing, which is terrific!
