Hi guys,

After playing Neal's 3.0 list for a bunch of games last year I retired my Thousand Sons for an indefinite period. I broke them out 2 weeks ago against Verm1s using my Imperial Guard for a tester as to how they differ from marines. Crushing victory to the forces of Magnus!

Well my plan over the bank holiday weekend was to put them all out and photograph them for posterity (and to post up here and receive acclamation from adoring fans... )

Well the missus had other plans!

I did manage to put some paint on another rubric formation and a converted diviner/ravager/reaver titan that I had built some 2-3 years ago. I even got some pics:




Basically I read the ravager should have a tail-mounted weapon so I looted around and found a necron wraith. Tail removed and pinned onto the reaver. I could not decide on a head or tail weapon so into my box o' bits it went. Then on Saturday night I had a rummage around and found a disused Lord of Battle weapon arm. With a skull on top it was perfect for a reaver head. A melta nozzle from an obliterator finished the job!

I'll get pics of my cabal up asap but for now commence firing...

Thanks J-man. Last weekend was the first weekend in 2 months that I did not have any plans set until shewhomustbeobeyed ruled otherwise.

Certainly get down some weekend. With club starting up again in June we should be good-to-go!

Have 3 retinues completed and plan on getting 1 retinue per 1,000 points that i intend to have completed - approx 6k, so 6 retinues or 54 stands of dust marines.

I also have 3 defilers, 2 land raiders, 4 predators and 6 rhinos completed. Next up will be another retinue, some dreadnoughts, the remaining 3 defilers maybe (these might go to my Red Corsairs) 6 silver towers and some more armour and flyers.

Looks good, like the head and tail choice  

Maybe make it a bit more mutated and weird looking though with Tzeentch being the God of change though?

I'm not all that into the mutated forms of chaos much, my Thousand Sons have been painted cleanly - they are the loyal ones like Ahriman ( )  who tried to resist the warping influence of the dark gods.
