You give me way too much credit

Not really much painting/modelling work done lately since I've been busy with Uni work and development work on the EW tanks. I know Tom has the first batch of Guild MBTs en route so I can paint them up for the Online store, but stuff for my personal collection is on standby. I do continue to tinker a bit with some terrain pieces though,

I just like your work that's all; nice clean work, consistently good output etc; i try to emulate as much as i can to be fair...modesty's commendable but there you go :-) If you'd like some criticism i've never been able to access the pictures of Battlegroup Ydrgagisil (sp?) on MustangSalling.com so chop chop and get that fixed!

Work for today is finished; i'm off to bed to read books about Piano maintenance and tuning but i'll leave you all with a picture; agree that grey is the way forwards for the butresses.

The titan is coming along fantastically MoK, I know its still a WIP but the bell tower needs to to be tied in with the body of the titan more. Keeping the gothic arches on the bell tower was a great move, they look like gigantic speakers. I can just imagine this monstrosity blast out psalms and imperial battle hymns as it demolishes anything that stands in it's path. Great work.

I just want to say you have done an AWESOME job on this model MoK. Its a great bit of modelling and quite inspiring to the rest of us (OK...me) that have similar projects stalled at the 10% completion mark!

yep; that's what i thought Haarken; the tower is going to be painted in exactly the same way as the body.  I like the idea of the speakers and that's why i included them; i've even referenced them in the datafax!
Hoping to finish the model tommorow.

Looking really nice MoK.
I have one suggestion though.
The bell needs some sort of counterbalance on the top of the hingey-bit to help balance it out.
I keep thinking it might look better if the two eagles were removed from the towers, one placed on top of the bell support, and something smaller placed on the tops of the towers, perhaps the smokestack/muffler bits from the City of Death walls, or spikes of some sort.

Just my two-cents worth, and I honestly believe it'll be a sweet model as-is as well.

As long as they don't start playing some terrible Eurodance track.
If you could model a tiny Xzibit on the base doing a thumbs up it'd be perfect...

BELL and COUNTERWIEGHT: those eagles are too big to go on top alas but i see what you mean; might plasticard another bit of wieght onto the end in the form of something in a bit...

Glyn is coming over for a game today so think we'll have to wait for the weekend to get it finished; not please with those photo's but, hey, they are only WIP. I think the model is looking a little too busy right now but beleive that'll be solved by painting the bell tower properly.

I'll finish it, andd detials and then post a proper picture :-)
