Hehe, well I'm sure Tom isn't going to keep you waiting longer than necessary. I suspect they will be ready in a month or so depending a bit on the caster's schedule, but no official word from Tomyet, so please don't quote me on that. Here's the finished model straight from the virtual forges of the Otterman. The turret is a single piece to make production and assembly easier. In a way it might be cool to have a version with the gun levelled (I imagine this thing would be nasty against infantry too). However this would of course be more expensive and take away time from getting other things ready for sale. The suggestion just came up, so before proceeding with the idea we thought we better ask here if there's a sufficient interest in a second version to justify it.

Well, to be blunt, I wouldn't mind doing without the external feed belts (I understand why it has the solid part within the loop, but it looks slightly strange) and having a 3-piece turret if the aim is for multiple 'poses'.  But if a line's already been drawn under that...

Nah.  No interest in a second version here.  Looks good as is and we've got imagination to make it swing down and point as the grunts.

Yeah, version as rendered is fine.  Move on to next variant please.

Out of curiosity (from someone who's stumbled onto this thread but normally has no interest in Exodus Worlds Guilder things) how big is that thing?

That turret looks cool and I could maybe be tempted to buy a few to convert onto a chimera chassis if scaling works.

The chassis is roughly the size of a chimera so it should probably fit a hydra chassis quite nicely.
