Received my first (of many, in all likelihood) batch of Aeronef and Land Ironclad minis yesterday:

Not pictured: the German and British Contraptions (28 in all). Kinda disappointed in the contents (not the quality) of the LI War of 1890 starter (IMO, should have a couple more ironclads, and I don't need the dice), though it is nice to have a printed rulebook instead of just the PDF copy.

It's probably a good thing I don't anybody local who plays Aeronef, otherwise I'd be sorely tempted to collect a fleet, or five.

Nice stuff, Kajo!  You should do some Dwarf ships for Uncharted Seas!

Ya know, I've played US a few times, and I don't really care for it. I like the minis, but the game irks me - too much fiddlyness and not enough in the way of variation between fleets for a simple game system to remain interesting to me. That's why I went with the Aeronef stuff in the first place - the rules are open enough that house rules won't make the game unrecognizable (and will make it more interesting to myself and my gaming opponents).

My latest projects have turned back to terrain for Fantasy

and 40K (this is club terrain so it is based on card rather than bevelled wood which I would normally use).

Very nice range of work by all.
Here is what I did for a friend of mine who teaches 6th grade and wanted a hands-on approach in showing kids a little bit on Napoleonic warfare.
Each base represents an infanrty bn, cavalry sqdn or artillery batt

Finally finished up the tiling in the living room and dining room!

The fireplace is pretty much done as well; it is not grouted but it is rather hard to tell anyway.

Now maybe I can get back to some important modeling!

Nice job, although I'm not sure about the proportions on one of those cats. I think it probably needs a resculpt

Had these from O-man for about 6 months or more so I thought I better get some paint on them:

Bad photo as I rushed out the door on my camera phone but will get better ones when they are based.
