Ginger is holding off final dates for the tournament waiting for a decision on the print run!

Personally I think its time to make a call. Either decide to get a 'good enough' list and the book in print by end of next week or that the books won't be ready for London and allow ginger to open the tournament for firm bookings.

The later this decision is left the harder it is for people to arrange transport at short notice, which could impact numbers for the tournament.

I sent an email to Ginger this morning telling him to go ahead with the planning.

If we make it then gravy, if not then it's not the end of the world.

Guys, regarding printing and bulk shipping in time for the London tournament, while there are still a few days to the deadline I am inclined to agree with Moscovian that there is still too much to do to the supplement. It is really looking good, but there seems to be too much uncertainty and a distinct lack of reports to back up the various assumptions and assertions being made here.

It is up to you guys, but I would suggest that we take a little more time to confirm the army content and list details before publication.

I had been holding off on the London tournament in the hope that we could get a bulk shipment out as we did last year. However this now seems unlikely, and with the proposed date only 7 weeks away, people need time to sort out their arrangements as Meph points out. So unless someone can give me a very strong reason right now to delay the tourney, I will be going ahead as originally planned.

Sorry for stringing things along, Ginger.

You should definitely go ahead with the proposed date.

In the unlikely event that it's done in time, that'll be awesome, if not it's not the end of the world.

The army was originally written by TRC as a Siegemasters redux, intended to be less breakable than the original siegemasters list. Seemingly he may have misjudged the list somewhat...

Really, what happened? I'm intrigued, note the original is simply the siege list with as many 3rd edition models taken out as possible, no preachers or anything (bear in mind I ave no way of viewing the army list pdf's at the mo!)

Preacher is just a Commissar analogue.
