Finishing up a couple more things here.

First off is a tankette type vehicle I got for free from a furry mammal. I was going to convert it into a battlewagon, but decided to see what German Feldgrau would look like for my IG. I kinda like it. What list is this supposed to go with again?

Next we have my Slasha gargant. It was done a while back, but due to an unfortunate cat incident, it lost a arm (literally lost. Never saw it again.). I finally got around to replacing it.

The tankette looks wonderful with a splash of paint on it. I love the Slasha gargant too, are the glyphs transfers or freehand?

Freehand. I wanted them to look a bit rough, and i think I accomplished that.

So here is the last bit of my DA army for awhile. Been wanting to convert some termies for a long time now. Figured I should finish these guys up before moving to the next project. What that project is is still up in the air.

I thought you meant that your cat had lost a leg in some bizzarre Gargant-related accident for a second there!

I was thinking it could proxy for the Baran artillery tractor.

Practically speaking though, it is only limited by the power of your imagination! Much as a Skittle can stand in for a Leman Russ.

Great looking conversions on the Dark Angels, the shields and storm hammers look amazing.

So I have been working on finishing up my Flames of War DAK army when I realized that my eyes were not sore from being super strained. "Something must be done!" I told myself.

Well, I needed another marine Tactical detachment, but didnt feel like more Dark Angels. Looking in my collection, I saw I had a ton of old MkI Marines already based up. So after a bit of cleanup, some minor conversions and green-stuffing, I was ready to paint.

What did I decide to do? Well, the Legion of the Damned of course. Must ruin my sight in some way.

Here they are.

Outstanding!
I love the paint scheme and the little extra details.
The fire is exceptional. I've always been fearful of painting fire but what you've done it so effectively. Inspiring.
Brilliant stuff.

They are stonkingly good, some of the best epic space marines I have ever seen! Very well done!

Considering your consistently fantastic output I am getting a little concerned about what the results of our depraved challenge are likely to be you know. Your green stuffing ability in particular is leaps and bounds better than mine. I shall definitely have to get my sordidly creative juices flowing...

Ever considered putting some of the best of your models up onto coolminiornot.com by the way? It’s the model painting / ranking site on the net and it would be great to see a bit more epic exposure on there; showing the masses you can do cool things with epic models and perhaps even inspire some to have a go.

There are a load on there, but oddly at the moment I seem to have the highest ranked proper epic model (unless there are any that don’t have “epicâ€Â
