But this would be difficult to achieve with CAD.

What the hell is that thing?

Har de har har. :p  But this would be difficult to achieve with CAD.

Can't argue with pictures, I guess ...  :;):   Maybe there could be a side skirt kit ... if you wanted to upgrade ... like with the Pz.IV ...    But I'm easy ... regardless ...  :vD  8v)

My Malcafloor will have 3 versions and will look like this.

I still need to find a metal caster.

Can't wait to get a plt of those !!!   You should be able to find a UK caster ... there are more metal mini companies there then in the US, it seems ... :sam:   Of course, there is always Texas ...  :vD  8v)

Don't tempt him to write the names in binary code, Maya glyphs or something silly like that... :D

Hehe.

Coming next from Otterman for Exodus Wars:

010001110111010101101001011011000110010000100000010000110110010101110010011000100110010101

110010011101010111001100100000010011010101001001001100

I really prefer assigning them Alpha-numerics then possibly a name ... like the Pz.IV, M4 Sherman or Pz.VIa Tiger I ... Long (sometimes silly) :vD names take to long to type, etc.  It's easier and more accurate, IMO, just to say or type Pz.VIb, StuG, M5, M9, T34, etc. ... but that's just me ...  8v)    Of ocourse ADWWFY ...  :;):

Very funny. You knew I would have to spend 5 minutes to decode that.

;)

God I love being a geek.

I guess I am not that much of a geek (I am a programmer so I am holding onto my geek hat) but just copying the binary into a ascii converter I get nothing. Any help?

For some reason the convertor I used did not yield that result. Thanks Jedi Master NetEpic.

Bah. Using webapps is cheating, you need to count the bits by hand . For easing life there are charts.
Proper chart with only decimal numbers
Easier version with binary codes in the chart

I once went to a Doctor Who convention and wrote 'Bad Wolf' in giant letters on Swansea beach outside, does that make me a geek too?

I have to start from scratch essentially every time.

?? for heavens sake why ?
cant youe just make a little section of a trak and save it as a part file ? then you could import it into all your amoured vehicle drawings and just paste them around your other geometry like your building a GW model. wont your software do that kind of stuff ? (im sure i could do it with solid works or pro-e)
