Wow, that is soopa! Thanks for the heads up. I will definantly be needing some of those. It reminds me of an Iraqi supergun (or the image I had of one anyway )

The difference between the Iraqis and the Orks it that the Iraqis only had a few superguns, whereas the Ork can probably field these by the dozen! Dakka dakka dakka!!!!
Cheers

Hmmm... I don't want to be the groutch but even though I can't explain exactly why there's just something about that model which I don't really like. Sorry.

Warmaster Nice, what armies do you play? If you play mainly Imperials, then I don't suppose you would be as drawn to them as a die hard Ork player would. At least thats my theory...
Cheers

Ah yes, the Phantom titan saga...everyone hates it, GW loves it
The bad news is that with Swordwind, chances are it will be re-released. Sorry!
Cheers

I hope not. It would be a stupid move I think. I'm sure they realise by now that everyone thinks it sucked big time.
With any luck they are already experimenting with changing it. And, with the forgeworld Revenant on its way for 40K, I reckon they'll be going back to the old version.
There are currently tables for 40K that have parts of a destroyed Phantom Titan, and that is of the older style. So that too sounds promising.

Mojarn, you make a good point. I think that as GW produces more and more Epic models, people will still have their favourites and regard some models as being really bad. GW won't stop making a model because no one likes it, as they will keep making it because it sells. Like I have said before, if their is a model you like, go hunt it down on eBay or something. Thats what I'm doing!
Cheers

| I play both races. It is just that I find the model less "instantly likeable" than the models we've been shown until now. It could be my Evil Sun-gene which tells me that all ork machinery should have wheels to drive around the battlefield-even the big gunz ? Again: my opinion is purely based on that single image so if the photo angle and such isn't quite right then the actual model may look much better (like Tuffskulls warhound).
About Eldar Titans: When was it decided not to return to Jes' original titans?
Cheers

The Ork Soopa Gun is very Orky, hopefully it won't suffer the same fate as the Iraqi Super Gun, but even the Orks aren't that stupid ! I'll get 1 or 2. Too bad Jervis didn't take our advise about the Warhound ?! The hooves and purity seals are quite horrible ! Thanks again G/W !

Because I've been collecting Epic since SM1 in '90, I limit myself to 1-3 of each type ... or move to a larger house !
