The painted warhound is now up on the Specialist-Games website!
Is this your work Tuffskull? It looks great!
I must admit that I had my doubts about the greenstuff version but the painted result probably means that I'll have to go rob a bank or something and go buy a couple anyway... :p ?:D

Cheers

Yup, that is my work on the arhound. Not my best by a long shot, but I wasnt too inspired by the model. It was a lot nicer than the green implied though (not hard!). Its an ugly angle they have on their website (IMHO), the best part is the hazard lines on the right top carapace  :D

Oh well , glad you think it looks ike an improvement over the green. Now all I have to do is try and get them to allow me to post my own pictures since they're showing it. I'm supposed to wait until they release the thing, but if they can show it, I cants see why I cant.....

And that is the Original Reaver model. I didnt paint it though.

Does this mean they are re-releasing the original Reaver? You seem to be the man with the knowlege about this Tuff, what do you know ??? ?

Cheers

I know nothing about the Reavers as to whether there will be a new one or if they're just re-releasing this beauty. However, when they gave me the orders for the warhound, the note said something along the lines of
"in Legio Ignatum colours to match an old reaver we already have" so I can be pretty sure this isnt a remake of any kind.

>> Its "Air Cav" time - scratchbuild some surfboards slung underneath anyone? ?

A friend of mine has an IG army that's modeled after the air cav in Apocalypse Now. ?He has surfboards trapped to the side of a couple of Sentinels.

That is very cool.  Does the Colonel have a cowboy hat too?

I MUST have photos... :p

No... COMMISSARS don't surf...

Hmm... I wonder how a commissar would look on a surfboard? He'd probably use a black one with red Imperial Eagle.  :p

Okay, I found the Valkyrie this time

That is very very very nice.  With a model like that for Imperial Guard, there can be no way I'll fail to get people interested.

I have downloaded all the epicA rules now, the ones that are pretty much as they'll appear in the rule book (with pics etc).

I'm gonna teach my regular opponent EpicA instead.  I was going to do Epic40K, but with the rules for this pretty much sorted, why not.

And as he's already an Imperial Guard player, and black Templar in 40K, I'm sure these pics will entice him into it.

Well, just warn him that it takes a short while to open, and bloody ages to print it all off.

I spent a whole day at work printing them.  Must be about 100pages in total.  I went through a black ink cartridge, and a colour (dont know why, it's in B+W)  ???

lots of grey...

grey on inkjet printers is done via the colour cartridge... and it is very heavy use as well...

you would have been better off using a laser printer, but I guess your office didn't have one!

thanks for the warning though, I will print mine off at work now rather than on my home inkjet!!

I really like the new Valkyrie. I think it's one of the better new models.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
