Like the title says... anyone able to provide comparison shots of these two models? The SG Orkeosaurus and the FW giant squiggoth.

Guesstimating that the GW model is slightly bigger. Although less dynamic I still think the FW version looks better (and since it is resin, it is much easier to convert as well :;): ) Never bothered to get the GW model myself, but each to their own of course :)

Y'know this is a very rare occasion where I prefer the GW version of a model to the FW and because of the overall look not the size. Though I will still pick up a FW one at some point too anyway though.

I slept nearly all of yesterday and still don't feel right after hitting my head, so maybe it's down to that, though I seem to remember thinking it before.

I don't actually have a FW one yet so can't really make a fair comparison. The FW one will be more detailed for sure, but I prefer the head on the GW one and the way the beast is higher off the ground.

Nice pics FB ! :agree:   I have both also and they will be in the same Mob of one of my Feral Ork Warbands. They are organic creatures supposedly 2 different species ... So the size difference is no big deal ... IMO  :)) They look like some sort of Dinosaurs to me.  Their feet look like Elephant or Rhino feet to me.  But I'm no Cryptobiologist/Xenozoologist ... :vD

Received my 4 FW Giant Squiggoths today :) Very nice models with lots of parts and detail. Also have one SG one for the Warlord to charge around in.

Will post some pics when painted of course. Thanks again for the intel guys.
