Just finished up an objective for 40k. I finally got enough of an army built to play so now I found I needed a couple of objectives. This guy's been sitting primed on my desk for the last year and so I decided to paint it up really quick.

As an intermission between IG infantry stands, I got this old mk1 metal Land Raider painted up. Had some difficulty painting the UM emblem on the side, as the mini isnt quite as flat as it seems at first glance.

Aside from my current Blood Bowl and Trafalgar jobs, I started another project:

A little painting...

Some tile removal and drywall work...

Some more tile destruction...

Removed some carpeting...

Now bring on the green stuff!  I don't think this will buff out...

Courtesy of my iPhone, a crappy pic of a pair of Warhounds I painted up for my chum. I upgunned it by adding two Exodus Wars light laser emitters to one Warhound, and and two Exodus Wars grenade launchers to the other. The base detail comes from the 40k basing kit, and the colour scheme is suited to match the Dark Angels troops I've been painting for my mate. I'm pretty terrible at painting, but it's better than the legions of naked lead/plastic marines that we'd we using otherwise :D.

I'll try and get a proper photo when I can bring in the old camera.

The Rickshaw Run

For a bit of variety - I've decided to do my bit for charity. My lead guitarist and I will be touring India in a rickshaw from New Years. Going from Nepal to the furthest south of India. We'll probably take the red route as the majority of the political troubles are in the bit where the blue route does a loop the loop. If we take the red route all we have to worry about is braving the desert.
