Those are real nice. I think the scale fits better that the Epic MBT Russ. They should be slightly bigger/longer than an APC IMO. So far I'm considering the Treadheads Package Deal.

The treadhead deal should be about a buckets worth ;).

About a hundred vehicles in a full Armoured Legion.

Thirty in a demi legion.

I want a platoon of each of the AFVs Tom plans on making.  What's that like  a dozen or so different AFV types ?!  APC, IFV, SPFA, SPAA, MBT, AmphTrk, SP-Mortar, StuG, etc., etc. ... Add the Legion Grunt types ... That would make a good Combined Arms Bn ... :))

Speaking of the StuG, I couldn't resist playing around a bit with some of the bits, to get a feeling on the proportions of some of the other variants. Here's a quick mockup of the tank hunter.

I haven't looked at this topic since halfway down page 4.  These things are looking better and better, and I'm more convinced that CAD's the way to go for microarmour.

And I'm also convinced to reset and redo the 'Xty-Xth Proxian' regiment.  Although, looking at the size comparison photos and based on how well these do, would EW ever be convinced to produce a set of light modular vehicles?

I think they should be dedicated to L4, and based on M113s.

Mmyup.

I don't know chap, what is the 4th Legion vehicles are bought and then painted in lurid, psychedelic colours? I do not want to be responsible for that level of rage.

:))

Tongue was in cheek.  But while I admit it would help (someone, somewhere) that M113s have a vaguely similar profile to something else, I do think there's something visually appealing about that group - M113s & AIFVs - independent of something else.  A clean, unpretentious, "does exactly what it says on the tin" impression (beside which something else seems cluttered).  To say nothing of the RL 'modularity'.

And if you're still not convinced, the fallbacks are the British Alvis APCs.

Kidding though, kidding.  I see people on small manufacturers' forums whose response to new releases is "Cool!  Now can you make this and this and some of this and a bit of that...?" I don't want to come across the same way.  I'll take some modular MBTs for now and be happy. :D
