Hi

Looking good L4. I spent the time athcing sport on TV, reading (completed the Hobbit, just started the Silmarilion) and did littlt painting. I have basecoated some Perry Minatures 28mm ACW Union figures- highlighting to come.

THanks Boyz !! Yes, Glyn, I like the Lion Patch ... It's Hammer's Slammers Regimental Insignia ... Like my Avatar ! :vD  8v)   I also just finished up the last of my all Epic SM Forces - an =][= stand,  4 F/W GK SM stands & 4 F/W GK Terminator stands. Pics to follow soon ... :))  Now to start on all my Epic IG !

Holy Crud! The Slammer Terrain is immense L4 and I've commented on the excellent Grey Knights elsewhere... while the site was down it was all I could do not to curl up in a ball in the corner and rock back and forth while mumbling "buh, buh, buh, buh, buh." You must be made of sterner stuff, well done.

Thanks W/H !!  I used an electrical plug cover from my new hobby lamp ...   :)) As you can see with in the pic with the Slammer Stone with the Minotaur statues.  It's suitably imposing ...   And I guess I got the idea from an event that happened to me while I was on my second tour in the ROK.  The Summer of '85.  I was in my jeep with my driver, reconing routes along the Korean countryside.  And in a small patch of foliege in an empty field. We spyed a grey marble obelisk with a color stone inlay of the 1st Cav Div. patch. And a dedication to the Div for their actions in that area during the War, '50-'53.    So I figure on some far flung planet ... The Slammers also had a memorial erected to them for their actions there ...  :grin:
