Saltshaker cannon

Heya MNB, there are a few things helping my 3D sculpting efforts. My skill with MoI is improving with practice. MoI itself is improving as the programmer fixes bugs, adds features, and releases betas to paying customers. I discovered PrintAPart, which delivers fast high resolution prints at excellent prices. This allows me to add greater detail to my models and get feedback.

After my adventure with Krieg looking models I should return to the Zombie robots, specifically the zombie robot skimmers and the Tree of War, which some people call the Warbarque. That will happen in a couple of months.

In the immediate future I'm working on something that looks like a Vaygr lance fighter, a Terran Federation Navy light cruiser, the saltshaker, while revising the Gorgonzola and shepharding the Exodus Wars main battle tank.

Saltshaker ordered from PrintAPart. I borrowed a page from GHQ's book and made them in three sections: carriage, gun shield/cradle, and weapon barrel.

The carriage is a very weird thing, and the wheels may have to become separate pieces.

Saltshaker looks cool. This is the sort of artillery I have been hoping for in Epic scale ever since FW released their W40k scale artillery. This and the Gorgonzola might tempt me into a Krieg list.

Cheers

James

Wow looks awesome Otterman. Put me down for at least three batteries of four, maybe more depending on how much they run.

Just teasing, of course.

Evidently I clicked the "Super rocket express shipping" on this order, so we may actually have this in hand by today.

Evidently I didn't read the FedEx website correctly. Delivery is expected Tuesday, April something or another.

Is that an SG sized barrel or the more dainty FW sized one? (hoping for the former  :sulk: )
