A bit of a crazy idea, like all good ones are, but I was paining up the CI I got from a recent trade, planning on making it Tallarn-oriented, when an idea popped into my head. Painting it dark brown, you see, makes it look a bit similar in appearance to say...one of these:

http://www.amazon.com/Titaniu....sim_t_5

Apparently, it's only a bit smaller than the CI, coming in at 3" long to the CI's 3.5". With a little conversion work, do you think it would pass?

Ahhh, L4, The Man With Every Model, that looks absolutely wonderfull. Since you also have the larger one, how big is it compared to the real CI?

Thanks TwilightWalker for the idea, thanks Legion 4 for the additional information.

Now I'm off to get one (small) and get some stuff from that bleeding water mammal...

yep looks cool. Wanted to buy one on the fleamarket a couple of moths ago but the guy said it is a collector item and wanted 10 EUR so I left it there. Will build one if I need one.

Here's a picture of my Sand Crawler next to a Warlord Titan in a game of Polyversal at Williamsburg Muster.

Hey is that a Stargate at the end of the road !?

Close.  That is the Derek Parfit Jump Port, known to the convention onlookers as "Mr. Teleporter"  It can be seen more clearly in this picture from my blog.

Yes, it is made from a gutted Krups coffee maker, a Lumin' Disk plasma disk, and some battery-powered Xmas village lights.

Interesting fact: If you put wire flight bases with attack helos on the disk, the charge will build up along the flight stand, and arc to  your fingers when you go to move the choppers. The smell of burning paint should have tipped me off!
