Sadly, this sets back my progress in saving up for a 10mm Glock by another couple months,

Glock 10 is good (very nice stable and serious handgun) but the glock 18 is gooder (insanely mental handgun)

Yeah, I'm looking at the 10mm models for anti-bear purposes when we go backpacking.  My preferred model is the G29, but the G20 might also do.

Mmmm... subcompact Glock...

Yes impressively engineered, reliable and compact and shouldn't be much trouble to look after...

But mines bigger!

Austrian Pfeifer-Zeliska .600 Nitro Express Magnum. When you just gotta' shoot something big.  8v)

EDIT: That's not me BTW.

Holy...!  Is that thing left over from the Boer War?  Or was it used to bring down Luftwaffe planes during the Blitz??  Man, and I thought my neighbor's .454 Casull was big...

I was thinking of the Joker in the first Batman film, but the principle is the same!

I was thinking of the Joker in the first Batman film, but the principle is the same!

I keep expecting a flag to come out the end with "Bang!" on it.

I think you would need to be a very good shot. (Made difficult or near impossible due to the size of the grip, pull of the trigger and the weight of the weapon.) Just imagine how much money you would waist each time you fire the damn thing. The rounds must cost stupid amounts of dosh to make. Not being worth the bullet would be a constant saying. Not an undercover weapon or backup for the normal sized person either... can you imagine the noise too. Are human wrists even capable of withstanding the recoil?

It's just big with bigness. Nice.

Actually, a friend of mine (who shoots a .40 in IPSC matches) carries one of those S&W ultralight revolvers in .44 mag as his bear gun (just found it on the S&W site, it's a model 329PD).  6 rounds of .44mag weighs more than the weapon itself, but it points wonderfully.  It hurts to shoot a lot, but there's no bear that will keep coming after 6 .44mags to the chest and head.

Oh, Jav?  I remember something from the GW site back when the new termies came out, they'd wandered through Home Depot (expensive as that gets) and found that Vinyl raingutters and those gridded light covers make great starts for 3d Space Hulk terrain.  You could also use electrical junction boxes, but I think that raingutters are cheaper.

I've replaced the bases (with grass :p ) of my old platic terminators, that's more suited for space hulk now:

Very nice!  Did you make those bases yourself?

I received my Litko order weeks ago, but I just haven't had time to do anything with it.  I'll see if I can spend some time on it this coming weekend, and post some pics, as well.  My initial impression is very positive, though;  the floor tiles fit together snug enough that they won't wobble around, but also not so snug that you risk breaking them when pulling them apart.  You don't need to exert any pressure to put them together, either;  just line up the connectors and they drop into place.  The 1/4" thick plywood feels nice and solid in hand, too, and there really isn't any warping to speak of.

No, it's from Micro art studio.
Some like those on the right could be made quite easily with the good textured plasticard, but well, I'm lazzy :)

Here is a 1/2 blood angels tactical marines squad:

I'm quite happy with the face of the sergent:

They're mainly for space hulk too, that explains the bases.

Rest of the squad will follow in march.

Oh, man, those are beautiful!  Now I'm all intimidated and everything.

I haven't had the time to work on that Litko stuff much at all, sadly, but maybe this weekend...?  Yeah, we'll see.
