Awesome!  Clearly, they are taking the feedback very seriously.  Assuming this is the sprue contents, as quoted in the thread:
12 Standard
6 Light
4 ground support skimmers (with 2 of each type of weapon, 4 if there's room)
6 serpentine
2 advanced
6 heavy
2 repair skimmers
1 lord

I'd definitely take 10, possibly more depending on final price.

That reminds me, I'm going to ask Tony to update the listing with the new sprue contents.

I'm hoping these go all the way, if they do it will open a lot of doors for 6mm.

Wouldn't that be awesome?  8v)

And look at this from the WF thread:

Well, I'm actually drawing up skimmer tanks (light and heavy) with vectored thrust modules (no open turbines), since VTOLs weren't what "skimmers" meant in the initial sprue description.  What stays and what goes is up to WF, but I'll present Tony (and you guys) with a bunch of options, and then we can proceed with what gets prototyped.
I've sketched up a maintenance bot with 1 heavy claw, 1 light claw, 1 torch arm, and one buzzsaw arm.  A small turret is on its back.  I'll post it up when I have time.
Best,
JBR

I like the sounds of skimmer tanks and a nightmarish maintenance bot!  This concept is getting better and better!

I also like the idea of the "skimmer tanks" being different from the presented VTOLs, but I'd love to have a set of the VTOLs he did propose for this project!  :wow:

Hello, and thanks to Dave for pointing me towards this forum.

I'm currently roughing out the Standard Deathbot infantry right now.  Thanks for the comments, and keep them coming.

Best,
John Bear Ross

That's awesome.  I started out in wargames with Classic BTech (actually, Citytech), and was introduced to Adeptus Titanicus and Space Marine by my friend Chad Hardin back in the early 90s.
I wasn't happy with the game flow of the original Epic, and decided to design my own system of Epic tabletop rules, complete with new types of titans, mecha, and infantry.  Along the way, I learned to design miniatures on the computer, and here I am.

So, it's kind of a circular thing.  I started out in Epic, and here I am again, designing a set of 6mm figs.  Life's funny that way sometimes.

Thanks for the invite.  I'll try and behave.

Best,
JBR

Uh, oh... he's a Decepticon... we may need to report this to Optimus Prime.

Got anything you can post in the Painting and Miniatures section?
