Well, I get the joke, but to the rest of the world: a gordita is a Mexican term of affection for a rather fat girl.

I didn't even try. The parts were pictured on his website, and in my ignorance I accepted as-is.

It's about 65mm long.

waiting :) For some odd reason I really like this old bird. I'm thinking they could make a great blitz objective since they are smaller than I first thought.

I as well.  These things always fascinated me.  It isn't a Pegasus lander (man, to get your hands on THAT prototype would be something) but it does have a nice appeal to it.  Get about a dozen of them and make them part of an Imperial drop army.  It would look like Star Ship Troopers (the movie, not the book).

I might be calling it by the improper name - it might just be an Imperial Dropship and I thought it would have made a good Pegasus.  The line between my fantasy and reality has blurred when it comes to this model.  :wow:  But here is the prototype one fella worked up.  All attempts to contact him have gone unanswered.  I can imagine he's had a number of people with requests to buy/borrow/rent it.

Ah yes, that's the one Bob Naismith did way back then for SM1. But for some reason G/W didn't make it ?  ???  Bob, as you know does the DRM & E/W minis among others ... :alien:

Thanks Mosc! I really like that - I remember seeing drawings with them in early White Dwarfs  (112, or thereabouts.) I'll have to dig them out. There were stats for AT / Space Marine versions.

Any idea how big that model is?

Cheers,
Reaver

I may be off but 5-6 inches long and half as wide sounds about right.  The rear bay door I think has enough space for two square bases to stand side-by-side.
