How long did it take you to complete this wonderful Great Company L4. Is it the actual 13th Company? The lost one? I know they are supposed to be fighting still in the Eye of Terror but do you have a background story for these guys?

Thanks W/H ! It took about a month + off and on to finish my SWs.  As I said, I "New-Speaked" the fluff to suit me. Ragnar, Ulrik & Njal are from the SM2 fluff. I copied their Banners from an old W/D 158 for SM2/6mm figs. The 13th, last I heard was still in the EoT. Ragnar, Ulrik and Njal really aren't part of the 13th, AFAIK ... But it works for me ... fluff-wise !  Ragnar was a SW commander and his right hand man, Njal, was a very powerful Librarian/Psyker. Ulrik was a Chaplin with healing powers(ie. medic for game purposes).  Whenever Ragnar is used in a game Njal comes with him. And rounds out Ragnar's command team. I have the rest of the fluff somewher in my W/D - Black Library ... But you get the idea !

A month on and off is quite a short time IMO. That's seriously fast work, good stuff. Any armour or other equipment being prepped for your Great Company?.. I take it you don't like the fluff from the 40K rules for the Eye of Terror 13th Company. I thought it was quite cool... *Pensively awaits the smackdown from an irritated L4*  

Cheers for the Intel on your 13th L4. Yeah, I love those characters from SM2 also I've still got them in a Battlebook somewhere. They were the first characters I had ever used in battle. Very cool. Hopefully with such a strong command team the 13th will make it back ok. So, where's their nemesis Chaos Legion, the Thousand Sons?
