Thoughs nids look fantastic olly, so much so I'm placing an order with DRM now!  :vD

One question - Whats the 'head' on that Dominatrix? I can identify all the carnifex bits, but not the large underslung head...

Thanks for the unit shots Olly!

All the conversions look really good.  Its interesting to see what bits you have used where.  Good to see some of the dominatrix bits came in useful.  Your conversions look heaps better than the original models.

Using the Hordes stuff for models is very cool - I'd found them while searching for Fiends of Slaanesh proxys for 40k and thought they'd be good for epic nids at the time (didn't collect them back then). I wasn't sure about the size of the 'Legion of Everblight Seraph' as a Harridan/Vituperator, but I was tempted by an 'Angelius Alpha Warbeast'...

Mephiston- The Shredders are a good size for sure, but they look a bit too... 'cartoony' for me really - like 'baby' creatures...!

Is the head on Olly's Dominatrix from the Legion of Everblight models?

wonder if I could get away with using PP shreders as hierodule's?

I looked at doing this but IMHO there a bit small, depending how lazy/stretched my resources get I'll be using converted ones as haruspex's
and the head from the dominatrix is from this model

The body became a heirophant as I really liked the idea of a biotitan stalking tanks/titans all cat-like :alien:
and the angelus as a vituperator is HUGE I had a look at the mini in the 2nd hand window at my local PP supplier and its massive, easily imperator size if you include the wings (my ones warlord size)

yeah, I thought the angelius might be big based purely on the price! I do prefer the design of the angelius but if it's that big it's a no go really.

Well after quite a long time, I've started up the epic painting machine again. I've had a long break from painting anything 6mm for ages due to holidays, parkour, death note and 40k marines, so its time to start for the new year  
Here's a preview of the things I'll be working on in the near future....
3000pt ork army (picked it up for a bargain so why not?)

Finishing my nids (just one DRM medium beasty order away form completion)

Finishing my emperors children (the worlds smallest 3000pt army :p )

I estimate about 15,000pts of guard (again another bargain :devil: ) which means I finally have one of these!

Though I am looking for suggestions for the colours though as I have no idea atm :sigh:

and now for something different, inspired by Cyrils eldar I've decided to paint up a spare phantom titan, this is mainly an expirement for this years GD but I'm considering painting an army to match, let me know what you think

and I know I haven't done much yet (like I said busy, busy, busy) :p
